How Basement Waterproofing Systems Work

When you have a basement that leaks with water constantly you most likely need a basement waterproofing system to ensure your basement remains clean, dry, and usable. How does a basement waterproofing system exactly work? Our basement waterproofing system works by our crew coming in and jackhammering out the cement around your basement perimeter and installing our WaterGuard system in that perimeter trench we just created. We then connect our Waterguard system to one of our sump pump system which comes in different sizes depending on how much water is entering your basement. After the system is connected with the correct amount of pumps in the sump pump we install our discharge line that goes from the sump pump to the outside. You're probably still asking yourself well how does this keep my basement dry? This system is designed so that as water tries to enter your basement our WaterGuard system will catch the water and direct it to our sump pump system which then discharges the water back outside leaving the basement completely dry and usable for many years to come.
