Photo Album: Crawl Space Lifted in Long Beach

The customer called Healthy Basement Systems to assess their sagging floors above their crawlspace. The crawlspace was really dirty with debris scattered everywhere. Cinderblocks were being used to support the floors above, but they are not designed to fix the problem. We installed SmartJacks to stabilize the floor and adjust the floors back the way they should be.

BEFORE: The crawlspace had high humidity levels and the floor above had visible signs of mold damage.

BEFORE: The crawlspace had a small entrance that proved to be a challenge for our foremen to get inside. We decided to send a crew of lean install team members to get inside and do the installation.

Mold Damaged Wood

BEFORE: Mold can be seen on the wood of the crawlspace ceiling. The wood is also warped and damaged.

AFTER: We sprayed the wood with mold resistant RimTight foam to help insulate the space.

AFTER: We installed SmartJacks to support and correct the sagging floors.

BEFORE: Cinder blocks were put in by another contractor to try and correct the sagging floors. Unfortunately, they did not correct anything.
