Our CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System uses stronger-than-steel materials to repair foundation walls: What it does: The CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System, developed by Supportworks, is a state-of-the-art solution used to fix cracked and bowing foundation walls. CarbonArmor® reinforces and stabilizes basement walls utilizing the same technology used by the U.S. Department of Defense, Army Corps of Engineers and aerospace engineers to reinforce bomb shelters, skyscrapers and bridges. Foundation wall cracks and bowing basement walls are signs that your foundation is in need of repair. Our carbon fiber basement wall repair solutions can help reinforce your bowing walls and repair cracks. Foundation cracks and bowing walls are serious problems that will worsen over time if not corrected. The experienced foundation repair specialists at Healthy Basement Systems can determine what conditions are causing this foundation damage. By accurately diagnosing the cause of the foundation problem, we can determine if carbon fiber wall reinforcement is the best solution for your foundation. Product Features: *Made from fiber-reinforced polymer that's 10-times stronger than steel *Specifically designed to reinforce & stabilize basement walls *High-strength epoxy resin absorbs pressure from the wall *Requires no outside digging *Most installations completed in less than one day ______________________________________________________________________ The sooner you repair damaged foundation walls, the better Signs of foundation damage are usually easy to spot. Foundation walls built from concrete block typically crack along joint lines between blocks, forming a horizontal crack near the mid point of the wall and "stair step" cracking at the corners. Cracks in poured concrete walls often display diagonal cracking extending from the bottom corners of the wall towards the top center. With either type of foundation, cracks can be accompanied by sections of wall that bow or tip inward. Once our foundation repair specialists know how many carbon fiber strips will be required to properly reinforce the wall, the installation process goes quickly. High-strength epoxy is used to adhere the CarbonArmor® strips to the wall and to enhance each strip’s strength. Once the repair is complete, the strips will “disappear” when the entire wall gets a coat of paint.
