Mold Removed/ Basement Waterproofed In Port Jefferson

Challenge

Mrs. C rents her house out in Port Jefferson and the tenant complained about water in the basement! After a thorough inspection of the basement, Eric Greenberg, one of our best System Designers, found mold, high humidity, and water intrusion in the basement. After locating the lowest point in the basement floor, Eric designed a system that will get the water out and keep Mrs. C's basement dry forever! 

Solution

First, we cleaned up the mold with CleanStart Plus.

Deon Frisbie and our expert installation team created a channel along the full perimeter of the basement floor. They installed the WaterGuard system which catches all the water before it reaches the basement floor, and guides the water to our patented SuperSump sump pump system, which pumps the water outside through a discharge line. 

Additionally, our LawnScape and IceGuard anti-freeze system were installed to allow water to escape when the discharge line is frozen.  This will prevent basement flooding in cold weather. 

Lastly, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to ensure that the humidity level stays low enough so mold will not grow. This will keep not only the basement but the entire house comfortably dry and healthy. 

This client will never again have a wet or moldy basement, and her tenants will always be happy as well!
