Basement Waterproofed and Walls Encapsulated in Moriches, NY
Challenge
The customer called us asking about waterproofing their basement. The water was coming in through the walls where the foundation wall meets the floor. Rich Alexander, one of our system design specialists, came up with a plan to keep the basement dry, all the time.
Solution
Our installation team first installed our patented TripleSafe sump pump system. The TripleSafe has three pumps to ensure high volumes of water can get pumped out even if the power goes out. Next, they installed CleanSpace along the walls to create a vapor barrier between the concrete walls and the basement. This will ensure water gets drained properly. Next, they installed the WaterGuard piping system around the full perimeter of the basement, which will catch and carry any water before it hits the basement floor. Lastly, they created a discharge line that ran up and out of the basement and away form the house.
The customer has not had any water issues in their basement since, and can rest assured our waterproofing system will keep their basement dry for the life of the home.
