Challenge
In addition to a leak, Liana also noticed mold coming from her basement. Knowing the unsafe living conditions that come along with mold, Liana called Healthy Basement Systems for a permanent waterproofing solution. Our Systems Design Specialist Eric Greenberg showed up to Liana's home and guaranteed her a more dry, safe living environment in no time.
Solution
Deon and his installation team got to work right away. First, they killed and removed all the mold that was infesting Liana's basement with CleanStart Sanitizer. Once the mold was taken care of, the team got to work on getting rid of the leaks in the basement. The team installed WaterGuard XL along with the Triple Safe Sump Pump to rid the basement of water and prevent any future leaks from taking place. The WaterGuard will capture leaks before they can infiltrate the basement floor while the Sump Pump will pump out the caught water and safely remove it from the home. The TripleSafe pump system has three pumps for maximum efficiency, guaranteed to work even during a power outage. Together, there is no way water can get in! For further precaution, BrightWall was installed to insulate the basement and protect Liana's walls from wall seepage by sending all water seepage directly into the pump system and out of the house. Finally, our Sanidry Sedona high efficiency dehumidifier was installed into the basement to keep the basement dry at all times. Now Liana has the basement she always dreamed of!
