Challenge
This particular case was a realty referral in order to sell the house. The house originally had water damage and upon further inspection from our Systems Design Specialist Eric Greenberg, mold was found. In order to sell the house, these problems needed to be fixed. Eric got the ok to send in Deon and his installation team to fix these lingering issues and make the basement presentable once again.
Solution
First, our installation team used CleanStart Plus to get rid of all the mold that was infecting the basement. After clearing out the mold, we went to work on the crawl space by using the CleanSpace encapsulation system which is vapor-proof and prevents from any new mold growth. After taking care of the crawl space, the team waterproofed the rest of the basement by using a combination of WaterGuard and our TripleSafe pump system. WaterGuard protects from any future water damage, catching the water before it arrives into the basement and sending it directly into the TripleSafe pump system which safely discharges it. Our triple pump system can handle heavy amounts of water at a time, making sure that the basement will stay dry just like it should be. Now, Jeanne can sell her house and the new owner will have a peace of mind knowing they have a safe, healthy basement with an added bonus of lower heating costs.
