Mold Removal in Quogue, NY
Challenge
This crawlspace in Quogue, NY had dangerous mold growth due to humidity and a lack of insulation. The homeowners were bothered by the messy and threatening nature of the crawlspace, and wanted these problems repaired.
Solution
Led by our foreman Larry, our production team worked diligently on repairing the very large crawlspace. First, the team removed the mold from the crawlspace with CleanStart Plus. Once the dangerous mold was gone, the team installed CleanSpace, our excellent vapor barrier system, on the floors of the crawlspace, to keep the floors dry. Next, CleanSpace Drainage Matting and SilverGlo were placed on the walls. These systems also help to keep the space dry, greatly decreasing the chances that mold would ever grow back. Finally, a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier was placed in the crawlspace, which would prevent the space from ever becoming too humid. With all of these repairs, the once dangerous, humid and dirty crawlspace is now well-insulated, clean, dry and safe! Healthy Basement Systems successfully met the needs of the homeowner.
