Waterproofing Job in Bellport
Challenge
This home in Bellport, NY had extensive water damage in the basement. A large portion of the basement was heavily flooded with water and the homeowner needed this problem fixed immediately. The basement needed to be drained and then waterproofed to prevent this problem from occuring again in the future.
Solution
Our foreman Dave led his production team in cleaning up and repairing this basement in a timely and efficient manner. First, our SuperSump pump system was installed, which pumps water out of basements very quickly. Then, our WaterGuard XL piping system was installed, which carries water to the SumpPump to be discharged. These installations allowed the water to be drained from the basement; once the basement was clean and dry, the team began the waterproofing process. IceGuard discharge line protection system was installed, which stops pump lines from freezing over, preventing frozen pipes from causing water damage. TrenchDrains were then installed to further help with drainage in the basement. Finally, SilverGlo was placed on the walls, which keeps the basement dry and prevents future water damage. Once all these repairs were completed, the basement was finally completely dry and waterproofed!
