A basement in Amagansett, NY had flooding issues that frustrated the homeowner. They wanted to have their basement waterproofed and to replace their poor pumping system. They asked Healthy Basement Systems to come in and solve the problem!
Solution
Our hardworking foreman Larry and his team took many steps in waterproofing the basement. First, they installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Wall System along the walls of the basement, insulating the walls to keep them dry. Additionally, a Sanidry Sedona Dehumidifier was placed in the basement, which keeps the air dry and clean. Next, our SmartSump Sump Pump System was installed, which drains water from the basement and defends against flooding. Following this, the team installed our SuperLiner Sump Liner, which allows the pump to work properly and not wear out prematurely, and also installed our IceGuard Discharge Line Protection, which prevents the pump from freezing over. This combination of products provided an efficient pump system and the conditions for a dry environment, solving the flooding issue! The customer was pleased with the work Healthy Basement Systems performed, and the basement was fully waterproofed.
