Waterproofing & Removing Mold from a Combination Basement in Patchogue

Challenge

We met a customer at the Long Island Summer Festival who wanted to completely transform his combination basement and crawlspace, which was ridden with mold and moisture. We had Eric Greenberg propose a solution to his dilemma and give it a total makeover!

Solution

Larry and his crew began the project by removing all unnecessary debris from the area, and eradicated all of the mold with CleanStart Plus. Next they installed our antimicrobial CleanSpace liner to create a vapor barrier that will seperate the home from any dirt or insects from the crawlspace. To insulate, we used Rim Joist spray foam and installed SliverGlo wall panels to reflect heat back into the crawlspace and ultimately reduce our client's energy bills. We then installed our patented TripleSafe Sump System to ensure the space stays dry all the time, and Sanidry dehumidifier to effectively dry and filter out the air.

Our client was extremely satisfied with Healthy Basement System's work, and is currently enjoying his healthier home!
