Wall Repair and Waterproofing in Riverhead

Challenge

A customer called up Healthy Basement Systems to inspect the cracks in the walls of their damp, musty basement. Frank knew just what we had to do to remove the water and make it look like new!

Solution

David and his crew began the project by eliminating all of the mold from the area with CleanStart Plus. To free it of any unwanted mold or insects, the team installed our antimicrobial CleanSpace polyethylene liner as a vapor barrier that permanently separated the home from the ground and allowed heat to remain encapsulated within the space to prevent floors from cooling. To waterproof the damp space, we installed our patented SuperSump system to ensure that all areas of the crawlspace will stay dry. An 8' zinc-plated PowerBrace System was custom-fit to the foundation walls and anchored to the floor and floor joists for stability and protection against any further movement. the PowerBrace System can be tightened to straighten walls over time.

The homeowner's walls were successfully repaired, and their basement fully waterproofed!
