Fixed Basement Flooding in a Syosset Home

Challenge

Every time it rained heavy, the homeowner would get water in the basement. This was causing some mold on the sheetrock and damaging their items they kept downstairs in storage.

Solution

We cut the damaged sheetrock up around 20 inches along with the studs. Then we chipped the floor to install our french drain system called WaterGuard. This ensures that the water will be caught from the ground up and from any water going through the walls. They also got a sump pump that was discharged water out the house.
