Any floors that are experiencing extreme cold temperatures should be looked at. Insulating the crawl space beneath the floor can usually help rectify this situation. For this homeowner we did just that and it solved their problems! We installed CleanSpace as a vapor barrier and SilverGlo underneath the floor to correct the cold temperatures. The SilverGlo has a reflective material that faces into the room for additional radiant heat.

Vapor Barrier

We seperated the earth from the room with the cleanspace 20 mil liner keeping all smells under the liner.

SmartJack stabilizes floor

Here we put a SmartJack in with 2 by 6 to stabilize the floors from creaking.

Installing SilverGlo

Here we installed the SilverGlo with the radiant reflective material facing the room.

Sealed with spray foam

Finally we sealed all opening with spray foam to ensure the cold does not creep into the room.
