Crawl Space Cleaned and Insulated in Mill Neck, NY

Challenge

The customer called Healthy Basement Systems looking to take care of a nasty crawl space. Our System Design Specialist Gabriel Ryan did a full inspection, and devised a system that would keep the space dry, save on energy bills and improve the health of the home.

Solution

Service Technician Tim Grubbs and Marketing Manager Kenny Ruddick teamed up for this job. They first cleaned out all of the old insulation in the small crawl space. Along with the insulation, they found a dead rat! This crawl space was in terrible condition. After all the debris was removed and bagged, they proceeded with spray-foam along the floor joists. Next, TerraBlock was installed along the floor to insulate and brighten the dark space. Lastly, they installed SilverGlo along the walls to further insulate both the walls and floor. 

The end result: A clean, brighter and healthy crawl space.
