Crawlspace Repair in Islip

A homeowner in Islip was experiencing issues in their home that stemmed from their damaged crawlspace. High humidity levels in the crawlspace caused mold to grow, making the air dangerous to breathe in. The humid air and mold spores were turning the home into an unhealthy environment. The homeowner called Healthy Basement Systems to come and solve the problem!
Solution
Our foreman Larry and his team worked hard to fix the issues in the home. First, they sprayed CleanStart Plus for mold remediation throughout the crawlspace to get rid of the mold and prevent more from growing. Next, the team installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system to insulate the crawlspace, making it waterproofed and clean. They also placed a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifer in the space to regulate humidity levels. Solving the humidity issue will prevent the air from becoming too moist in the future, and will also prevent mold from growing. Upon completion of the job, the crawlspace was waterproofed, clean, mold-free and healthy!
