CrawlSpace Insulation & Waterproofing in Bay Shore

Challenge

A customer called Healthy Basement Systems regarding unwanted water entering her home; her old sump pump was over a decade old and badly needed to be replaced! Rich Alexander proposed a solution on how to improve her crawlspace.

Solution

After removing much insulation, David and his team installed our antimicrobial CleanSpace liner to create a vapor barrier that will separate the home from any dirt or insects from the client's crawlspace. They then used Rim Joist spray foam and installed SliverGlo wall panels to reflect heat back into the crawlspace, and ultimately reduce her energy bills. We installed a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier to reduce moisture and keep the crawlspace dry. We were also able to replace the customer's old sump pump with our own patented Smart Pump system to more effectively drain water from the basement and protect against flooding.

Thanks to Healthy Basement Systems, this crawlspace looks good as new and our client is now enjoying her healthy new space!
