Crawl Space Encapsulation Amagansett, NY

Challenge

This customer in Amagansett, NY was having issues with water entering their crawl space. As a result of the water entering the crawl space the crawl space humidity level was at 73.8%, which also resulted in their crawl space wood support beams to have a moisture level of 18.6%. With these high levels of humidity and moisture in their crawl space, it led to the development of mold growth in their crawl space. 

Solution

Our experienced foreman David was in charge of this crawl space job, the way David's team fixed this customers water and mold issue was by first installing our SilverGlo to the walls to insulate the walls. Our team than added in our CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls and floor to help keep them clean and dry. Like we stated before, this customers crawl space humidity level was at 73.8% so we installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to help lower the humidity level in the crawl space. Since the high humidity was aiding to the growth of mold, once we fixed the humidity problem we cleaned the mold with our CleanStart sanitizer to get rid of the mold. For this job, we thought it would be best to add a SuperSump to help prevent flooding and to reduce any moisture that the dehumidifier isn't able to get. 

Since we completed the job, the customer hasn't had any mold or humidity issues in their crawl space.
