Blue Point Crawl Space Encapsulation

Challenge

This customer was having mold issues in her crawl space to the point that it was maker her house smell musty. So she did the right by calling the experts at Healthy Basement Systems to come take a look at her mold problem. When our skilled team showed up her crawl space humidity was 68%, a perfect breeding ground for mold.

Solution

Our team went into this crawl space and started by cleaning it out and spraying the mold with our CleanStart Plus solution to kill the mold. Then we encapsulated it with our CleanSpace water barrier to waterproof this space and reduce the moisture levels as well. We installed our SilverGlo wall barriers on the walls to further help lock out moisture. We finished this job by also installing a dehumidifier, our SaniDry unit, was put in the crawl space to stop humidity from building up. Humidity directly correlates with mold growth and the Sedona is a great way to prevent future mold growth from occurring.

Since Healthy Basement Systems came to this customers rescue she doesn’t have a musty smell problem in her house anymore and her crawl space remains mold free.
