Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Dark, Damp, Humid Crawlspace Encapsulated in Oceanside, NY

The customer called us in to assess and encapsulate their dirt crawlspace. Upon inspection, Michael Alexander used a hygrometer and concluded that the relative humidity in the crawlspace was over 70% which is enough to form condensation throughtout. The condensation was allowing mold to grow on the floor joistsand causes rot. Our team cut out the rotting wood and installed a condensation pump. Next they encapsulated the crawlspace with CleanSpace, and installed a SaniDry CX dehumidifier to control the humidity. Lastly, they installed vent covers so the outside air cannot get into the crawlspace.
