Leaky Basement Repair in Greenvale, New York

A homeowner in Greenvale, New York reached out to us because they would find water in the corner of their basement whenever it rained outside, this would cause their basement to become more humid and even started to aid in mold growth. The homeowner had several contractors come to try to resolve their leaking basement issue but nothing worked long-term, so they gave us a call to see if we could solve their basement issue. After sending one of our specialists out to inspect their basement, we recommended waterproofing their basement so that their basement would remain completely dry, all the time. The way we waterproofed this basement was by our crew first coming in and installing our WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the basement and connecting it to our sump pump system. WaterGuard is designed to capture any water before it enters the basement and directs it to our sump pump system, which then discharges the water out of the house. Our TripleSafe sump pump system comes with 3 different pumps to ensure your basement remains completely dry and usable, all the time. The first pump in our TripleSafe system is our primary pump which will do most of the heavy lifting. In the event, our primary pump became overwhelmed or failed our secondary pump would kick on and continue to remove water. The third pump in the system is our battery backup system, in the event there was a power outage during a storm our third pump would kick on and continue to remove water away from the foundation of the home. To ensure this basement remains completely dry and mold-free we installed our dehumidifier, which removes moisture, mold, and mildew particles from the air helping to improve the air quality in this basement. Now this homeowner has a basement that will remain completely dry and usable for many years to come. 

Usable Crawl Space in Greenvale, NY

This homeowner in Greenvale, NY had a nasty dirt crawl space that was very humid and unusable and the homeowner wanted to utilize the space for extra storage and gave us a call. Our team was able to come in and make this crawl space into a clean, dry, usable one by encapsulating the crawl space with our vapor barrier material which will prevent humidity and moisture from entering the crawl space. When we encapsulate the crawl space we first put down a layer of drainage matting which allows any water to still flow under the crawl space but it separates the crawl space environment from the nasty dirty environment, on top of the drainage matting we install our vapor barrier which makes the space clean, bright, and dry. On the walls of the crawl space, we installed our SilverGlo insulation which will help reflect heat back into the crawl space to make this home more energy efficient. Our crew also installed our dehumidifier in the crawl space which is designed to filter out small mold particles, along with filtering out moisture from the air and self-discharging it back outside making it so the homeowner never needs to worry about emptying a water bucket. Now this homeowner has a crawl space that's clean, dry, usable, and energy efficient. 

Wet Basement Problems Resolved and Mold Cleaned Up in Greenvale, NY
