I'm so happy I chose Healthy Basement Systems. I needed to do some waterproofing prior to my basement renovation. I am so happy with the Job that was done. Steve and his Crew are true professionals. Led by Steve I believe it was Jorge, Jorge and Dave. They were super courteous, very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the products. I was excited to see the work getting done so I spent a lot of time in the basement with them watching the process. Every time I had a question they had an answer. It is apparent to me that these guys are trained thoroughly. Upon Arrival Steve reviewed the Job with me before they touched a thing. He answered all my questions about how the process works and once I was comfortable he set the wheels in motion. Jorge and Jorge got right to work clearing the path for the WaterGuard. when it came time to hang the clean wall they took the time to make sure it was affixed to the wall neatly and straight. They worked around every obstruction like it was no big deal. Dave followed up and made sure there was no part of my foundation exposed, creating a water barrier even better than I had hoped. If anyone I knows ever needs waterproofing I am going to recommend healthy basement systems and I will definitely tell them to ask specifically for Steve and his crew. Top notch sales team and install crew. Let it rain!!!

Judging from the amount of times the new sump pump system kicked during the weekend Nor'easter on 10/29/11 on I have to believe that without the sump pump I would have had an incursion of water in my basement as other storms have caused. A worthwhile investment from a reputable company.

A homeowner in Hempstead, New York had a crawl space that would constantly allow water to enter it whenever it rained a lot outside, this was causing their crawl space to become a damp, musty, unusable space. The homeowner wanted to utilize their crawl space for extra storage and gave us a call to come inspect their crawl space issue. After sending one of our specialists out to inspect the crawl space they recommended that the homeowner have their crawl space encapsulated if they wanted their space to be clean, dry, and usable. The way we encapsulate a crawl space is by our crew coming in and installing a layer of draining matter over the dirt floor, this will separate the crawl space from the dirt and allow any water that enters the space to move freely into our sump pump system. On top of the draining matting, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier system, which will prevent any water or moisture from entering the space while making the space a clean, dry, bright, usable space. We also installed our SmartSump system in the crawl space which will capture any water that flows under the drainage matting and discharges the water out of the home and away from the foundation. To ensure this space remains completely dry, healthy, and usable we installed our dehumidifier in the crawl space, which will remove any moisture, mold, and mildew particles from the air, helping to create a healthy environment.
