A homeowner in Lake Grove, New York had a basement that would leak whenever it would rain a lot outside, which was making parts of their basement completely unusable. The homeowner was tired of living with a leaky basement and gave us a call to come inspect their basement issue. After sending one of our specialists out to inspect their basement we recommended that they have their basement waterproofed using our WaterGuard and sump pump system. The way our system works is by our team first installing our WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the basement and connecting it to our sump pump system so that as water enters the system it gets discharged out of the house and away from the foundation. Our WaterGuard system is designed to be installed along the footing of the basement so that it can capture any water before it can enter the basement and directs it to our sump pump system. As water enters our sump pump system it will be discharged out of the home by one of our three pumps that's inside the sump pump system. The first pump in our sump pump system is our primary pump which is designed to handle most of the heavy lifting in the system. The second pump in our system is our secondary pump, which will kick on and discharge water if the primary was ever to become overwhelmed with water or in the event it ever failed. The final pump is our system gets connected to a battery backup system to make sure the system can still run during a bad storm even without power, creating the perfect system to ensure your basement remains completely dry all the time. To ensure this basement remained healthy we installed our dehumidifier in the basement, which will remove any moisture, mold, or mildew from the air, helping to increase the overall air quality. Now this homeowner has a basement that will remain completely dry and usable for many years to come. 

Wet Crawl Space Repair in Lake Grove, NY
