This homeowner in Seaford, NY had a basement that would allow water to enter it whenever it would rain outside causing parts of their basement to be unusable. The homeowner was tired of not being able to use their full basement and gave us call to come inspect their issue. Our team was able to turn this basement into a clean, dry, usable one by installing our basement waterproofing system in it, our basement waterproofing system consists of our waterguard and sump pump system. The way our system works, is first our team installs our waterguard system around the perimeter of the basement which is designed to capture water as it tries to enter your basement and directs it to our sump pump system. Our sump pump system than turns on and discharges the water back outside leaving the basement completely dry and usable. The homeowner also noticed that their basement always smelled musty and they wanted to know if we could help get rid of that musty basement smell. We were able to remove that musty basement smell from their basement by installing our dehumidifier, which will filter out any small mold particles that might be in the air along with self discharging any moisture it pulls out of the air and self discharges it back outside, meaning the homeowner never needs to worry about emptying a water bucket. In the event this house ever lost power during a rain storm their sump pump system would continue to run because we connected a battery backup system to it that will kick on and allow the system to continue to run. Now the homeowner has a basement that's clean, dry, and usable for many years to come.
