Hi Sean! I wanted to say again that we're really pleased with how everything turned out in our basement. You know we had those couple of days of heavy rains, and we didn't get any water in the basement - but that extra patching that Carlos did around our septic pipe in the foundation, we saw about a 4 inch diameter wet spot form in that new concrete but no water ever actually came through. Carlos suggested that we get someone to come out and look at our septic venting situation, since we shouldn't just have holes in the outside wall for that! So maybe we'll talk to whoever those folks are about why there might be water buildup under the line like that... but overall everything seems to be holding up! We're really looking forward to starting the process of finishing the basement next year. :D

A homeowner in Upton, New York reached out to us because they had a basement that would leak whenever it rained outside, which was becoming a very frustrating issue for the homeowner because they couldn't figure out how to stop the water from entering, so they gave us a call. After sending one of our specialists out to inspect this leaky basement they recommended that they waterproof their basement if they wanted their basement to remain dry all the time. The way we waterproof a basement is by our crew first coming in and installing our WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the basement and connecting it to our TripleSafe sump pump system. Our WaterGuard system is designed to capture water before it can enter the basement and directs it into our sump pump system, which then discharges the water out of the home and away from the foundation of the home. The TripleSafe sump pump system comes with three lines of defense to ensure your basement remains dry and usable all the time. The first line of defense is our primary pump system, which will discharge a majority of the water that enters the system. In the event, the primary was to become overwhelmed with water or ever failed the secondary pump would kick on and continue to remove water away from the foundation of the home. Our last line of defense in our TripleSafe is our battery backup pump, which gets connected to a battery backup system in the event the home ever lost power during a storm their system would continue to run, keeping their basement dry. Now this homeowner has a basement that will remain completely dry and usable for many years to come.
