After hearing about Healthy Basement Systems online we were pleased to find how helpful the office staff was in setting up our free estimate.  Our designer Ian was very professional and courteous. We went with Healthy Basement Systems because he was so through.  The installation crew arrived on time and were all a pleasure to deal with.

After Hurrican Sandy left us with a flooded crawlspace and 1 foot of water on the first floor of our house, we called Healthy Basement Systems. They came and did their magic. Before hiring Healthy Basement Systems, our crawlspace would always have standing water after a rainstorm. The house would get all musty and humid. There was always condensation on the windows. I suffered with allergies. Since having our crawlspace serviced, the house is perfect! No more water and no more allergies. Another plus is that the crawlspace is now usable storage space. One of the best things we have done to our home!

Upon arrival he took extra care to keep my carpeting clean by putting on shoe coverings. His evaluation was thorough and I appreciated his honesty when he said we didn’t have an issue at all. Another company might have tried to sell me on an unnecessary treatment. The team of guys that did my system installation were amazing. Very professional and courteous. They were on time and walked me through every step of the process even when I asked a thousand questions. I just bought my house in May and inherited a ground water issue that the previous owner was not honest about. The team at HBS was very understanding of my situation.

I Found that my experience with Chris from healthy basement systems was quite pleasurable—Which is an odd way to describe an experience with any sales person.. He was 100% professional, well informed, honest, and I learned something to boot! As it turned out, we both agreed on what the next step should be with regard to my basement water situation which indicates that Chris actually listened to what the problem was and worked together with me to come to the best solution for my house.He did not make any money from coming here but he helped me a lot. As a result I have more inclined to buy one of his other products such as the dehumidifier.

Ian, You had sold us the waterproofing system for our basement which was installed this past January on Tidewater Ave in Massapequa. Below are photos of my street from about 8am Sunday morning August 28th, the day Hurricane Irene hit. We were not at hom at the time, the pictures were taken by a neighbor, but we were told that this was close to, but not the highest point for the water. While most of my neighbors had a substantial amount of water in their basement, I am glad to tell you that we had NONE!
